The Form Workshop is a series of weekend meetings grouped in cycled devoted to different topics. Every cycle is a responsibility of a different artist. The point of departure for every meeting is the collection of the Museum of Sculpture. Each session involves dealing with a spatial form, what changes is the perspective – according to the field the person conducting the workshop specializes in. So far, we have mostly been inviting visual artists – painters, sculptors, photographers – but a stage designer, a designer of industrial forms and a voice coach have also contributed. Such choice of hosts as well as plenty of time dedicated to performing particular tasks – several meetings within a cycle – makes it possible for participants to familiarize themselves with various, also experimental, forms of artistic expression (including happening, installation, working with body and sound) as well as to develop their skills in a chosen field of art.
The workshop is addressed to children aged 5-12 and accompanying adults.
