For the past seven years, Deutsche Telekom has been building up an art collection, which focuses on the contemporary art scene of countries that remained behind the Iron Curtain until 1989. The exhibition at Królikarnia is a comprehensive presentation of works by artists from Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine. When referring to historical events as well as individual experiences that are inextricably linked with specific geographic regions, the works presented use an international artistic language as well as comment on more recent and universal issues.
Free admission.
