14 May – 25 October 2026 The Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture in Królikarnia
At Dawn
28.07.2019
4.30 am - 8.15 am
At this year’s first W Brzask concert we will listen to what the oriole, the starling and the redstart have to say, along with three musical human persons. The first of these will be Miłosz Pękala, an immaculately talented percussionist, particularly fond of the vibraphone and the instruments of Latin America. Miłosz leads a prolific creative practice, both as a soloist and a member of groups, e.g. the Kwadrofonik quartet (with Emilia Sitarz, Bartłomiej Wąsik and Magdalena Kordylasińska) or the unique percussion duo of Hob-Beats, also with Kordylasińska. Miłosz’s repertoire is remarkably varied, which we will undoubtedly witness at the break of dawn. The next performer is jśa, previously known mostly as a club DJ. This time, we will listen to her more melancholic outing, one that combines the elements of fairytale, popular, unsettling and dance musics. Once the morning settles in for good, Ania R will take our park stage. She is an artist that loves music with an affection that is universal, patient, yet also demanding.
