14 May – 25 October 2026 The Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture in Królikarnia
THIS IS A REPEATED WALK OF 19/07/2015
How did the artists fight the MDM builders for their artistic visions? What daring action of Jan Zachwatowicz and Stanisław Lorenz did ministerial reliefs witness? Will the historical panels return to the Sejm façade? These subjects will be discussed during the sculpture walk around the southern city centre.
The meeting time: 20 September (Sunday), at 12am, the northern entrance to Politechnika metro station (at the corner of Nowowiejska and Waryńskiego).
The author of the walk series is Hanna Dzielińska – journalist, Warsaw tour guide, the 2nd prize winner in the competition of commemorating the Great Synagogue (May 2013). The city walk is a part of the programme accompanying the exhibition “Rhetorical figures. Warsaw’s architectural sculpture 1918-1970”.
