14 May – 25 October 2026 The Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture in Królikarnia
Dates: August 5–8, 10:00 AM–2:30 PM
Final presentation (open for public): August 8, 6:00 PM
The laboratory is intended for individuals with experience in dance, acting, improvisation, or choreography who are interested in working in public spaces.
The workshops will be conducted in English.
Eva Klimáčková is a dancer, performer, and choreographer based in France. She works with somatic techniques (Body-Mind Centering®), choreography, and site-specific improvisation.
This four-day workshop will be a movement exploration held in the gardens of Królikarnia, inspired by the surroundings and the sculptures presented in the "Destination Paris. Polish Women Artists from Bourdelle’s Studio" exhibition.
The sessions combine improvisation and composition with sensory and perceptual work. Participants will build and deconstruct movement material, experiment with movement quality, and transform patterns through games and strategies. Following the musicality of movement, listening to oneself and attuning to the group, we will explore the organic architecture of the body — its spaces, forms, shapes, volumes, and structures.
The process will be experimental and playful — individually, in pairs, and as a group — using movement tasks and improvisation framed as games and explorations.
