Preparing the “Rhetorical Figures” exhibition we frequently used restorers’ professional knowledge. Some sculptures at the exhibition had been found in a truly bad condition and required immediate repairs. In the Sunday workshop we will have an opportunity to learn about a number of interesting restoration techniques and try some of them out ourselves. We will see that a restorer must be like a hunter and explorer, doctor and chemist, jack-of-all-trades and artist. And we will see if we could do such work.
